The defending ACCC women's champion Shelton State Lady Buccaneers, and the defending men's champion Mariion Military Institute Tigers, were chosen by the ACCC coaches to capture the ACCC women's and men's basketball titles respectively.
The Lady Bucaneers were an unanimous choice, while on the men's side, Marion Military, Shelton State, Wallace State, and Alabama Southern received first-place votes.
The 2017 ACCC Tournament will take place March 7-10 at Lawson State in Birmingham.
