Zach Melton, a lefthanded pitcher for Central Alabama Community College, has been named the ACCC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for February 15-21.
Melton finished the week with a 0-0 record, 0.0 ERA and eleven (11) strikeouts. He worked five (5) innings on the mound for the Trojans, surrendering five (5) hits and one run (unearned).
The Foley, Alabama native has seen action in four games this spring for CACC, three as a starter. In a little over 12 innings of work, Melton currently holds a 5.68 ERA.
