JT Thomas, a catcher from Chattahoochee Valley, has been named the ACCC Baseball Player of the Week for February 29-March 6.
A native of Woodstock, Georgia, led the Pirates to a 24-0 win over Abraham Baldwin in their only game of the week. He scored three runs, while hitting three homeruns, the first three homerun game at CVCC since 2010. He also added eight runs batted in while hitting .600.
Thomas, returning from a broken thumb, is batting .389 and slugging .889.
