Chase Adkins of Chattahoochee Valley, has been named the ACCC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for March 21-27.
Adkins, a sophomore from Hillgrove High School tossed a complete game four hitter in a win over Alabama Southern. Adkins went seven innings, striking out eight, while allowing two walks, with a 1.29 ERA.
The Powder Springs, Georgia native is currently 3-0 with a 1.15 ERA with 44 strikeouts in 39 innings pitched, while walking only four.
