Ronnie Baylark of Marion Military has been named the ACCC Player of the Week for the week of February 1-7.
Baylark led the Tigers to a 2-0 week, with wins over Shelton State and Southern Union State. Baylark scored 20 points, going 6 of 10 from the field and 7 of 10 from the free throw line, in the 82-65 win over Shelton State. Baylark led the Tigers with 22 points, including two three pointers in the last minute, to secure a 77-74 road win over Southern Union State.
The Crestview, FL and Crestview High School native currently ranks seventh in the ACCC in scoring per game at 17.1 and first in free-throw percentage at 84.5.
Marion Military, ranked #16 in the NJCAA, returns to action Thursday when they travel to #17 Wallace State for a Northern Division showdown. The Tigers defeated Wallace State in January 53-52.
