Southern Union's Hill inducted into Kennesaw State Hall of Fame

Terrence Hill, a 6'4" wing guard from Fort Payne, AL and Fort Payne High school, was inducted into the Kennesaw State University Hall of Fame. Hill was part of back-to-back State Championship teams at Southern Union State Community College in 2000-2001 and 2001-2002. While at Southern Union, Hill was an named all-conference, and chose Kennesaw State over several Division I offers. 

While at Kennesaw State, Hill was a two-year letter winner. He helped Kennesaw State to the 2004 Division II Men's Basketball National Championship, earned 2004 Division II All-American honors, as well as the 2004 Atlanta Tip-Off Club Naismith Award winner as the NCAA Division II National Player of the Year. Hill was also selected the 2004 Chevrolet Player of the Game after helping the Owls post an 84-59 victory over Southern Indiana in the Championship game, and also ranks in KSU's Top 10 in several career categories, including, Points (No. 10-1,152), Points Per Game (No. 5-16.2), Field Goals Made (No. 10-408) and, Free Throws Made (No. 7- 254).

Other major honors include the 2004 Elite Eight Tournament Most Outstanding Player, 2004 Elite Eight All-Tournament Team, 2004 South Regional All-Tournament Team, 2004 First Team All-South Region, 2003 and 2004 Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year, 2003 and 2004 All-Peach Belt Conference First Team and 2003 All-South Region Second Team, Helped Kennesaw State to a 35-4,, overall record, including a 16-0 mark in the PBC as the Owls won their final 26 games, KSU went 60-14 (08111) in his two seasons and concluded his career with 16.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.6 assists a contest.
