Gadsden State's Maurice Johnson and Coastal Alabama-South's Michael Green earn ACCC Co-Players of the Week honors for December 11 - 17.
Johnson, a sophomore forward from Birmingham, Alabama paced the Cardinals to a big 89-85 road win at Georgina Highlands. Johnson had a great all-around contest as he scored 26 points, grabbed eight rebounds, to go along with five steals.
Green, a sophomore guard from Conyers, GA helped the Sun Chiefs to a 1-1 record. Green averaged 30.5 points, five rebounds and five assists, while shooting 46.1% from the field and 88% from the free-throw line.
Green currently ranks third in the ACCC in scoring at 19.8 while Johnson is fifth at 16.8.
