Tyrique Purvis of Coastal Alabama-South named Player of the Week

Tyrique Purvis, a sophomore guard from Coastal Alabama-South and Decatur HS, has been named ACCC Player of the Week for November 12-18.  The Decatur, AL led the Sun Chiefs to a 2-0 record, with wins over Delgado and Snead State.  He averaged 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.  Purvis also shot 60% from the floor and 83% from the free throw line. Purvis is currently third in the ACCC in scoring at 21 ppg.
