Wallace State's Lampley named Player of the Week

Demarkus Lampley, a sophomore guard at Wallace State-Hanceville, has been named the ACCC Player of the Week for February 4-10. The Phenix City, Alabama native led the North Division leading Lions to a 2-0 week by averaging 32 points and five rebounds while shooting 57% from the field and 92% from the line. In a key North Division showdown with Shelton State, Lampley hit the game winner with three seconds left to give the Lions the outright lead in the North.  Lampley currently leads the ACCC in scoring at 25.9 points a game.
