Central Alabama captures Men's Golf Championship

Central Alabama (pictured right) shot a final round 289 (+1) for a two-day total of 869 to claim the ACCC Men's Golf Championship at Goose Pond Colony Resort in Scottsboro.  Runner-up and first-year program Calhoun shot a final round 293 (+5) for a 875 with Wallace State firing a third-round 298 (+10) for a 886.

Sam Goldasich of Central Alabama claimed Medalist honors with a final round 70 (-2) for a total of 212 (-4).  Jack Sims of Calhoun, Brandon Lacasse of Wallace State, and Reynolds Carl of Central Alabama finsihed tied for third at 215 (-1).

The District IV Golf Championship will be held April 24-25 at Brewton Country Club in Brewton, AL, with teams from Region 8 (Florida), 10 (North/South Carolina, Virginia), 22 (Alabama), and 24 (Illinois).
