Jennings to serve as Head Coach of Toyota Junior World Cup Team in Japan

NORMAN, Okla. – The GCAA alongside the WGCA have announced the 2018 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup head coaches for team USA.

Central Alabama Head Coach, Dave Jennings heads the boys team. Jennings has been the head coach for the Trojans since October of 2001. The two-time NJCAA Dave Williams National Coach of the Year Award presented by Golf Pride winner will seek his second round of international coaching duties as he captained Team USA at the 2010 World University Golf Championship in Spain.

When asked what the appointment of Head Coach meant to him, the 2013 GCAA Hall of Famer said: "I am humbled and extremely excited in making my second trip to Japan and in representing my country for the second time in an international golf event in a coaching capacity. It will be an honor and privilege to coach this group of talented young men. Surely, this will be an experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life."

Coaching the girls is Central Arkansas Women's Head Coach Natasha Vincent. Vincent is in her sixth season at Central Arkansas. During her tenure her teams have managed seven tournament victories and three consecutive runner-up finishes at the Southland Conference championships. This will be Vincent's first international coaching event.

"I am flattered to know that I was not only considered but selected to represent our country and to lead a group of the most talented ladies who earned their spot. I look forward to wearing the Red, White and Blue," said Vincent.

The 2018 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup will be held June 10-15 at Chukyo Golf Club Ishino Course in Toshitomo-cho Fukada, Toyota-shi, Japan. Boys and girl's teams from the 24 represented countries will compete separately over 72 holes. The lowest scoring teams for both the boys and girls will be awarded the Toyota Cup. Individual winners from each division will be honored as well.
