Ashlynn Kimbro of Wallace-Dothan has been named the ACCC Softball Player of the Week for February 8-14.
Kimbro led the Lady Govs to a 5-1 week, going 12 for 18 (.667) from the plate, while adding three home runs and 10 runs batted in. She also walked four times and contributed six doubles.
A native of Daphne, AL and Daphne High School, Kimbro currently leads the ACCC in batting average (.667), on base percentage (.727), slugging percentage (1.500), and third in doubles (6).
The Lady Govs return to action today when they host Marion Military Institute.
