Gabrielle Kespelher from Faulkner State Community College has been named the ACCC Softball Pitcher of the Week for February 29-March 6.
A native of Orange, Texas, Kespelher helped lead Faulkner State to a 6-0 week, going 2-0 on her own, with a 0.00 ERA. She threw two complete games in wins over Spring Hill College and Pensacola State College. In the two games, she allowed six hits, while striking out 14 and walking four.
For the year, Kespelher is 10-6 with a 3.84 ERA and has struck out 77 batters in 82 innings.
