LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Ninety-four student-athletes representing 46 programs received 2016 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NJCAA DI All-Region accolades, announced the Association.
These awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's three regions with first- and second-team recognitions. NFCA member coaches from each region voted on the teams, and all honorees are now eligible for the 2016 NFCA NJCAA Division I All-American squads.
ACCC Player of the Year and pitcher Gabrielle Kespelher of Faulkner State, infielder Marissa Hancock of Snead State, and outfielder Morgan Burbage of Shelton State all were named to the NFCA South Region Second-Team. All three were named to the All-Region 22 team.
