LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced 103 student-athletes representing 47 programs received 2017 NFCA NJCAA DI All-Region accolades.
These awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's three regions with first- and second-team recognitions. NFCA member coaches from each region voted on the teams, and all honorees are now eligible for the 2017 NFCA NJCAA Division I All-American squads.
All-Region 22 first-team infielders Taylor Beshears (Wallace State) and Allison Pickett (Faulkner State) were named to South Region First-Team, while ACCC Player of the Year Madison Chambers (Shelton State) and fellow first-team outfielder Amber Hammonds (Wallace State) were named to the South Region Second-Team.
