Coco Knight of 17th ranked Shelton State has been named the ACCC Player of the Week for the week of November 22-29.
The sophomore from Bay Minette and Baldwin County High School led the Lady Bucaneers to a 80-55 victory over #16 South Georgia Tech by scoring 18 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing out five assists. Knight also added two steals and one block.
Down 33-25 at halftime, Knight helped Shelton State to a second-half surge where they outscored the Lady Jets 55-22. With the win, the Lady Bucs inproved to 8-0.
