Bre Bussey of Chattahoochee Valley has been named the ACCC Player of the Week for the week of January 18-24.
The freshman from Valley, AL and Valley High School had a career night by scoring 22 points and grabbing 21 rebounds, including eight offensive, in a 63-62 loss to LB Wallace. Bussey shot 50% from the field and 75% from the free throw line.
She currently ranks second in the ACCC in rebounding at 11.4 rebounds a game, while adding 12.6 points a game.
The Lady Pirates, 8-11 overall and 2-2 ACCC, returns to action tonight when they travel to Faulkner State.
