Kendrea Dawkins of Shelton State Named Player of the Week

Kendrea Dawkins, a redshirt freshman at Shelton State Community College, was named the ACCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for December 5 - 11.

Kendrea was hot from behind the arc for both wins last week for the Lady Bucs.  In addition to averaging 14.5 points a game, she pulled down 5.5 rebounds, a steal, and 1.5 blocks. She did her most damage from 3-point range, going 4-for-8 on the road at Alabama Southern CC and 4-for-9 at home against Wallace CC-Selma at a 47% clip. 

Kendrea and the Lady Bucs are back in action tonight at 5:30 against East Central Community College.
