Timi'a Swanson (pictured right) of Chattahoochee Valley and Imari Martin (pictured below) of Wallace State have been Co-Players of the Week for December 3-9.
Swanson, a sophomore guard from Chattahoochee Valley and Americus-Sumter HS led the Lady Pirates to a 2-0 week, posting a double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, while adding 3 assist and 3.5 steals. Swanson shot 86% from the charity stripe as well as 47% from the field.
Martin, a freshman point guard from Hazel Green, AL, led the Lady Lions to a 3-0 week, averaging 16 points and dishing 6.6 assists. Martin also added 2.3 rebounds and 2 steals a game. Martin shot 54% from field, including 50% from the three, and 100% from the charity stripe.
