Kelsea Bivins of #19 Wallace State has been named the ACCC Player of the Week for August 29-September 4. The sophomore outside hitter from Alabaster led the Lady Lions to perfect 7-0 week.
In the seven matches, Bivins finished with 82 kills in 157 attempts, and added 16 digs and 22 blocks.
For the young season, Bivins leads the ACCC in kills (82), kils per set (3.15), and ranks third in hittng percentage at .357.
The Lady Lions, currently 8-0 and 2-0 (ACCC) return to action September 7 when they travel to Snead State.
