Abby Borden of Wallace State Community College has been named the ACCC Player of the Week for the week of October 3-7.
In thirteen sets, the freshman setter from Arab, Alabama had 149 assists, averaging 11.46 a set. She also added 13 kills, six service aces, 17 digs, and three blocks.
Borden currently leads the conference in total assist (741), assists per set (10.15), total kills (49) and kills per set (0.67) total blocks (21), blocks per by setters (0.29) and sixth in total aces. Borden is currently ranked eleventh nationally with 10.15 assist per set.
Wallace State is 29-2 on the season, 12-0 in ACCC action.
