Abby Borden, sophomore setter for the Lady Lions of Wallace State Community College has been named the ACCC Volleyball Player of the Week for October 1 - October 8. The Arab, Alabama native led WSCC to a 3-2 record last week to claim her third POTW honor this season.
In 15 sets, Abby finished with 14 kills, 185 assists, six service aces, 38 digs and eight blocks. She continues to lead the NJCAA in total assists (1122), assists per set (11.00), and total aces (54); she is 6th in total digs (227).
