Snead State Lady Parsons Sweep Wallace-Selma

BOAZ – The Snead State Lady Parsons Volleyball team remain tied for third in the Alabama Community College Conference after its 3-0 win against Wallace Community College Selma on Tuesday, Oct. 10.

The Lady Parsons swept the match with scores of 25-11, 25-4 and 25-20, putting Snead's season record at 8-3.

Snead State hit .373 in the match with 37 kills against 9 errors in 75 total attacks. Marlei Murray of Tuscaloosa had 9 kills with no errors in 15 attempts. Megan Zuck of Hartselle had 9 kills against 2 errors in 18 attempts.

MacKenzie Buttram of Geraldine had 7 assists. Zuck led the team with 13 digs with Jordyn Garmon of Guntersville and Lily Hawkins of Crossville close behind with 12.

The Lady Parsons hit the road to take on Lawson State on Thursday, Oct. 12, beginning at 6 p.m.
