BOAZ – Snead State Community College Head Volleyball Coach Angie Sanders was named the Alabama Community College Conference Coach of the Year.
Sanders was recognized at the ACCC Volleyball Tournament Awards Banquet on Friday, Nov. 3, at the Snead State Cafeteria. Snead State hosted the ACCC Volleyball Championship at the Plunkett-Wallace Gymnasium Nov. 3-5.
Sanders has been the Head Volleyball Coach at Snead since 2016. Before she came to SSCC, Sanders coached volleyball at Gadsden State Community College for past 11 years.
Snead State Freshman Megan Zuck was also recognized as she was named first team All-Region. Zuck is a Hartselle native and plays outside hitter for the Lady Parsons.
Sophomore Lily Hawkins (pictured below) from Crossville was named to the All-Tournament Team. Hawkins is an outside hitter for Snead State.
