The NJCAA has approved the Men's Basketball Summer Showcase to be hosted by the Alabama Community College Conference and Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, AL.  This site is one of only three nationally.

Over the course of June 28-30, the ACCC, in conjunction with Wallace State men's basketball, will oversee the event, bringing together up to 48 men's teams to showcase their talents each weekend.

The Summer Showcase will be housed in Tom Drake Coliseum and Wellness Center Courts 1 and 2.  If needed, Hanceville High School and Middle School will be utilized, which are located one mile from the Wallace State campus. 

In January 2019, the NJCAA announced new legislation regarding summer participation for student-athletes. For the first time ever, the NJCAA will be permitted off-season practice in men's and women's basketball and competition dates to adapt to newly adopted NCAA summer recruiting rules between June 16- July 1. During that time, NCAA Division II and III, and NAIA coaches can visit NJCAA and two-year college campuses to recruit student-athletes. Division I coaches are allowed to attend the weekend events.

"We're looking forward to providing an opportunity for student-athletes across the Southeast to be evaluated by four-year college coaches," ACCC Commissioner Dean Myrick said.

Deadline for registration is June 21st and is limited to the first 48 teams.  Spots will not be held without payment.

                       $250 for team participants (five or more from the same NJCAA institution)
